The reunion between Hannah Brown and Peter Weber on the new season of The Bachelor will leave both reality stars feeling confused as ever about the state of their relationship. While the trailer for the upcoming season sent shock waves through Bachelor Nation when it showed an intimate conversation between Weber and Brown, new information suggests that their conversation is even more complicated than it originally appears.
Brown and Weber first connected on Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. Brown fell for Weber’s puppy dog eyes and sweet personality, taking him all the way to her final three. Despite the sexual sparks between the two of them and an explosive fantasy suite date, Brown sent Weber home right before the finale, choosing to move forward with Tyler Cameron and Jed Wyatt instead. Despite his heartbreak, it wasn’t the end for Weber. He landed himself the coveted position of the Bachelor. His journey has only recently come to an end, and fans assume that he found someone else to fill the hole Brown left in his heart. New information, however, suggests that things might not be completely over between Brown and Weber.
In a press release for the three-hour premiere, documented by Us Weekly, ABC gives a little more information about Brown’s appearance on Weber’s season. Brown steps out of the limo on night one, where she’s met with loud screams and total shock from the contestants. However, she apparently doesn’t stay that evening. According to the release, Brown then returns to lead a group date where she encourages the women to share their “most memorable sex stories and fantasies in front of a live audience.” It’s during this date that the emotional conversation between Brown and Weber takes place. “What she shares with him will leave them both as confused as ever,” the release teases. “Do the two of them still have feelings for one another and share the same sizzling passion? Will Hannah join the group of women in the Bachelor mansion and continue to date Peter?”
The press release also teases some other crucial information from the season. Apparently, Brown wasn’t the only person to exit the limo with whom Weber had a prior connection. “There is one hard-charging career woman who has already had a chance encounter with the Bachelor and sparks flew then,” the release says. It also hints at a “very emotional first rose ceremony” and reveals that Weber gets his first kiss of the season on the very first night. Breaking from ABC’s usual course of total secrecy, the release also reveals that nine women will go through flight school on the first group date, resulting in one winner who will meet Weber’s family at his parents’ vow renewal.
While the release doesn’t give any concrete answers as to the state of Weber and Brown’s relationship, it certainly pushes the idea that their conversation is more than just a friendly chat. However, Brown joining the Bachelor mansion and competing on another season of the show seems highly improbable. Perhaps her feelings for Weber are strong enough to pursue him at all costs, but we doubt their relationship will extend much farther than an emotional conversation between exes. Hopefully, they’re both able to move on and find happiness, though it’s unlikely it will be with each other.
